The opening meeting of our Erasmus+ project named “Building a learning culture for the digital World”, which we coordinated with Efeler District Directorate of National Education and Aydın Adnan Menderes University, was attended by Aydın Adnan Menderes University from Turkey, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, from abroad Italy and France. It was held in Aydın Didim between 2-4 August 2021 with the online participation of our Greek partner and representatives of educational institutions from abroad.

The opening speech of the meeting was made by our Efeler District Director of National Education, Hakan ÖZCAN. In his opening speech, Mr. Hakan ÖZCAN,

“He started his speech by welcoming the guests attending the meeting from various European countries and Turkey. I think we will have a good project process together with your contributions and the experience of our project trainer team. “I wish you all the best,” he said.

Mr. ÖZCAN to his speech; “The main goal of our project is to provide and disseminate informatics literacy to our students and educators. We aim at digital transformation in education. Especially during the pandemic period, the importance of information technologies has emerged in the distance education process. The difficulties experienced by individuals in the use of information technologies in this process, which the whole world experienced for the first time, confirmed the importance and necessity of our project. The outputs produced in our project will be shared nationally and internationally. As a pilot application, project outputs will be tested in schools affiliated to our Efeler District Directorate of National Education and in partner countries, and deficiencies will be corrected; then, under the control of our Efeler District Directorate of National Education, it will be made available digitally worldwide. I wish him good luck and success in advance.”

After the speech of the District Director of National Education, Hakan ÖZCAN, the presentations of the participants and the country status reports were presented. Participation certificates and gifts were presented to the participants and academicians by Mr. Hakan ÖZCAN.
